Compared to last week movement of hay demand is light planting of new 
alfalfa crops have started in some parts of the state.
According to U.S.
Drought Monitor as of April 13, 2025.
Extreme drought (D3) continued to affect much of southeastern Colorado 
and portions of adjacent southwestern South Dakota and western Nebraska.
